The SACER SA1172 Smart Electronic Actuator is designed for Variable Nozzle Turbine (VNT) turbocharger systems used in modern Volkswagen Group (VAG) 2.0 TDI common-rail diesel engines. Driven by a high-torque DC motor and monitored via an integrated digital position feedback sensor, it delivers precise, closed-loop control over the turbocharger vane position across all engine load demands.

Receiving real-time Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) / CAN-Bus commands from the Engine Control Unit (ECU), this electronic actuator adjusts the variable geometry vanes rapidly to optimize boost pressure, eliminate turbo lag, improve fuel economy, and lower tailpipe emissions (Euro 6 compliant). It directly replaces failed OE actuators suffering from gear wear, motor burnout, or position sensor error codes.
